5 uses of apple cider vinegar

Vinegar, which is generally found in our refrigerators and in the kitchen, is a mixture of acetic acid and water.  Apple cider vinegar commonly called as ACV. It is a complete natural product. The hard apple cider is formed from pure apple juice. It is fermented again to form the apple cider vinegar. As it’s a natural product it has immense benefits. We all know it very well that vinegar is used for final rinse in hair, as a conditioner, for hair growth and for dandruff also. It has antiseptic properties. It also enhances the glow of our skin. It helps to maintain the natural ph of our skin and thus, helps in eliminating many skin problems such as dryness, itching, acne and flaking. Recently, I have added vinegar in my diet. It has various benefits. Let me unfold it to you all.

So let’s explore the beauty secrets of ACV. Starting with face first.

1. If you have oily skin and also suffer from problems of acne, then you can use it as a cleanser/astringent. All you have to do is just mix one part of ACV with two parts of water and apply all over the face with a cotton ball. Don’t forget the T-zone which is usually oilier.
Some apply it directly over acne to reduce it. But, I would suggest not doing that because applying directly may dry up the skin.
You can even make small ice cubes of the concoction and rub all over your face .This can be used on summer days. It acts as astringent and good for problematic skin.

2. It can also be used as a face wash. It is very cheap and effective. It makes the skin glow as; it removes the dead outer skin. It also helps in removing blackheads and cleanses the pores too.

3. It is also very effective in fading the age spots. All you have to do is make a mixture of one tablespoon of orange juice and two tablespoon of vinegar. Dab this on the age spots with a cotton ball daily. This is a topical treatment however, drinking concoction of vinegar and water will display quicker results.

4 . It can be used as a skin softener. Mix one cup vinegar with warm water in a spray bottle and spray it all over the body. Leave it for few minutes and then wash off. Then you can feel the silk  all over your body.

5. We can also include it in our manicure/pedicure regime. Soak your feet/hands in equal parts of vinegar and water for 10 minutes then follow up with the manicure steps. It makes them super soft.

Apart from all those tips mentioned above you can also shed your weight by a mixture of vinegar and water. It helps in detoxification of liver and helps in weight loss. It has high percentage of beta-carotene which helps to look and stay younger by warding off the free radicals. For this you can mix a teaspoon of vinegar with 2/3rd of glass of water and keep drinking throughout the day.
