Honey face packs

 Did you know a honey bee travel thousands of trees to make half a tea spoon of honey? Honey is generally used as a sweetener but it also has some extra characteristics. It is nutritious and also has anti bacterial properties. If you always desired for a flawless skin and have invested in many random products and still you did not get the desired result, then you should try this honey masks, for sure. These are sure shot remedies for various skin problems. Moreover, it has no side effects.
                                       

 The beauty benefits of honey are:
1. Helps in treating scars
2. Ideal moisturizing and cleansing agent.
3. Anti-inflammatory and anti – bacterial properties.
4. Natural antioxidant and rejuvenates the skin
Now, let’s have a look on some yummy honey facial masks... :)                                   
1. As a cleanser:
Mix honey, glycerine with liquid soap and apply all over face. Wash with warm water and pat dry.
You can also, use only honey, as a cleanser .Apply it over face .Leave it for 5 minutes and wash it off with warm water.
2. As a scrub:                            
Mix honey, grounded almonds, lemon juice or yogurt and oatmeal and make a paste. Apply on face and massage for 5 minutes and was off with warm water. Oatmeal and almond acts as excellent exfoliating agents.                       
3. As a toner:
Blend one apple and honey till smooth. Apply allover face for 5 minutes the wash it off. This will bring back the moisture after cleansing.
4. Face pack for oily skin:
Mix multani mitti(fuller’s earth) with honey, few drops of lemon and yogurt. Apply on face for 10 minutes then wash off.
Mix honey with grated cucumber and chilled milk and apply on face for 10minutes, then wash off.
5. Face pack for acnes:
Prepare a mixture of honey, lemon juice and sandalwood powder and apply all over the face .After drying wash off. This also helps in removing the spots caused by acnes.
6. For dry skins:
Make a mixture of yogurt, honey, a few drops of lemon, and a few drops of olive oil. Apply on face and let it dry. Then wash off.
7. For mature and ageing skin:
To one egg white add one teaspoon honey, one teaspoon of glycerin and gram flour. Apply this on face and neck for 10 minutes then wash off with warm water.
Wrinkles can also be treated by applying a mixture of honey and onion juice. Then wash it off with water.
                                         
     
8. For glowing skin:
Blend a tomato with honey, apply this on face and wash off after 20 minutes for a glowing skin.
Apply a mixture of honey and ripe mashed banana to face. Let it dry for 20 minutes then wash off with warm water.
You can also make a mixture of honey and ripened papaya. Application of this daily provides a fairer skin.                                      
9. For bleaching:
Apply a mixture of honey, milk and lemon juice to tanned areas for 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.
This removes tan and is good for oily skin
