Homemade Herbal Shampoo

Have you ever tried making your own shampoo?? No! I am not talking about the one that is prepared with castile soap.With the whole world going green,let's try a herbal one.The benefits of this herbal shampoo is immense.Let's see how to do it.
                          

Ingredients Required:


  • Shikakai (Acacia Concinna)-1/2 kg
  • Fenugreek -1/4 kg
  • Tulsi leaves (Basil) - A bunch
  • Curry leaves - A bunch
  • Reetha (Soap nut/Sapindus Trifolatus)- 100gm
  • Amla (Gooseberry) - 1/2 kg


Procedure:

Soak reetha,sikakai and amla along with two litres of water overnight.Use ates hair giron wok to soak the ingredients.Then the next day,boil this mixture along with curry leaves,basil and fenugreek till it reduces to half.Let it cool down and use as a shampoo.
