Mascara,kohl,compact,moisturiser,sunscreen,lipstick,liners etc. are some of the make up that most of the women use it on a daily basis. The down side of all the make up is removing it off. It is very important to remove these make up before going to bed. If not removed these may lead to acne, enhance the ageing process and will lead to dull skin.
A proper way should be followed to remove the make up so that our skin is not damaged.
Face Make-up:
Face make-up is usually removed with cleanser followed with face wash. Make sure that face wash is suitable to your skin type.For oily/combined skin the cleanser should have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide as one of its ingredients.For dry skin, use a creamy cleanser that will not have much drying effect on the skin.After cleansing wash the face.
Eye Make-up:
Eye make-up are very tough to remove. If its water proof then you need to do it with utmost care. First you need to dab cotton with make up remover and press it on the mascaras for few minutes.Then swipe it over the lashes with circular movements and then wash with luke warm water.Make sure not to rub the under eye area harshly.
Facial Wet wipes:
You can even use wet wipes to remove make up. Don't use very often as too much rubbing can harm the skin.Use it once in a day especially if you are in a journey.This is not much suitable for delicate skin beauties as you have to rub to remove the make up.
Make -Up Removers At Home:
Apart from variety of make-up removers available at market, it is always good to use a natural product. This can be made in your home at your own privacy right from your kitchen.Home made products are harmless and are cheap.
Coconut oil:
This an amazing oil easily found in our home. It doesn't clog the pores. Take a tea spoon of oil in your hands and massage onto your face and eyes. Wipe away with a warm towel.To remove the eye make-up, do circular motions on eye lids with the fingers and go with the direction of lashes and use downward motion to remove the mascara.
Coconut oil hydrates the lashes and helps them to grow thicker.
Olive Oil:
Olive oil is a good source of Vit. E, K and fats.This will also promotes natural growth of lashes and also helps to reduce scars on faces.To remove the make-up it should be followed the same way as mentioned above in the coconut oil.You can use a q-tip to remove the make-up on the eyelids. Don't go against the directions of your lashes.
Baby Wipes:
If you cant splurge on make-up tissues,you can very well try these baby wipes.These wipes are hypoallergenic, scent free and is very good for sensitive skin.It is basically, made for sensitive skin.All you have to do is take a wipe and run it under warm water, place on the eye lids for some time. This will warm the mascara and thus, can be easily wiped away.You can follow the above procedure to remove make-up from the lashes bu never go against the direction of lashes.You can even dab some olive or coconut oil on the baby wipe to remove the last traces of make-up.This baby wipe is very gentle for the skin around eyes.
Don't forget to wash your face after removing make-up with good face wash suitable for your skin type.
